AN INTERACTIVE
AND SENSORY MUSEUM:
the AMusEn project
The theme of our future museum “Switzerland, a country of diversity” will introduce visitors to the many characteristics of our country – ranging from its history to its inventions, its sports to its traditions, its art to its industry.
A visit to the museum will be an Imaginary Journey. We plan to create wonderful immersive environments that will stimulate participants physically and emotionally. Visitors will be guided towards a deeper understanding of Switzerland. Through astonishment, enchantment and fun we will punctuate this awakening to Swiss culture, with an emphasis on creativity. It will be a great opportunity for children (and accompanying adults) to wonder about Switzerland and its future.
This unique museum will be dynamic and flexible, innovative and daring. Particular attention will be paid to sustainable development. Furthermore, it intends to play an important social role; whether through the accessibility of activities to people with special needs, or the employment of disenfranchised people.

We are aiming to have a semi-permanent exhibition. Children like what is familiar to them, but are also excited about new discoveries. Structures such as a mountain, or a hut might be refreshed from time to time using various techniques such as projections, additional installations, virtual reality, etc.
